It is given that Medville Hospital prescribes the drug only for condition A and condition B, when both of them occur.
4,000 * 0.25 = 1,000 and 2,000 * 0.8 = 1,600,
Thus, the total number of patients who used the drug were, 2,600.
Thus, the range is from 1,600 (least amount of people who could've suffered from condition A and B) to 2,600 (maximum amount of people).
Hence, option D and E fit in this range.

How do you calculate the least value, why can't I say least value is 1000?
