Hi,

I am not able to differentiate between Raucous, dissonant & cacophonous. Because eventually they are synonymous(Google).

Can anyone please help?

Thanks!

Dissonant (harsh sounding) and cacophonous (grating) are the two correct answers. Symphonic and mellifluous both mean harmonious, which is the opposite of what’s needed here. Disparate means dissimilar, and raucous means something more like loud and unruly, which could work but doesn’t have a matching word in the answer choices.
