I do think that life is a balance. The extremes, unless is a specific question for the GRE or for everything else and in between, are not good. I would be happy to have a few points on the quant side and have a better verbal score >160.
Not only we express ourselves via words and phrases to make clear our thoughts but also the GRE is a verbal test NOT a quant test.
let take a look at this score analysis

Look at the report above: amazing. Look at the beauty, in particular, of the second section

13 questions in a row correct but one the first, which was on the third level of difficulty, and on which I would spend more than 41 seconds. Just a pinch
Two questions level 4 nailed 25 and 38 seconds respectively. I love it
Of course, nothing is perfect. One question level 5 correct but in over 3 minutes. When your internal clock says to you: over two minutes. It is time to think a guess unless you have plenty of time ahead of you.
But, hey guys, hands down.
16 questions correct in the first section. Therefore, the second section will be hard and the guys still nailed 18 questions.
164 + some bonus = I think the score was at least Quant 167 VERBALHere the disaster. Like in the Ying and Yang, we had a stellar quant section and a terrible verbal section. Remember a balance, guys.

RC section is not a total fallout and the time management is decent but we have to improve
We should carefully analyze why the student failed level 4 questions and nailed level 5 in the first section under RC. Keep an error log, it is crucial.. Of every single question
Text completion. The overkill

As you can see a disaster. A Waterloo. A carnage.
The student should reconsider from scratch his/her preparation and strategy and skills
The second section is not any better

RC has time management issues but still we see some light at the end of the tunnel
TC and SE.......forget about it. reset button and move on thinking about how to improve.
Take Away
- Quant is fine. The student could sleep between two pillows
- Verbal .......will see tomorrow. There is nothing to add.
