Randy can run \(π\) meters every 2 seconds. If the circular track has a radius of 75 meters, how many minutes does it take Randy to run twice around the track?
A. 5 minutes
B. 10 minutes
C. 12 minutes
D. 15 minutes
E. 17 minutes
Since he has to make 2 complete revolutions, Distance = 2 x \(2πr = 4πr = 300π\)
For every \(π\) meters, he requires 2 seconds
So, for \(300π\) meters he will take \((300)(2) = 600\) seconds which is 10 minutes
Hence, option A
