X^2 + 5x = 6 Given statement ,
X^2 + 5x - 6 = 0
(x+6) (x-1)
x= - 6
or x = 1
Now
Statement A
(X+6)(X-1)
= X^2 - x + 6x - 6
= X^2 + 5x - 6
Try plugging the values x= - 6 or x =1
We get 0 & 0 in the both the cases
Hence B is the answer 1>0
Statement B > Statement A
X^2 + 5x - 6 = 0
(x+6) (x-1)
x= - 6
or x = 1
Now
Statement A
(X+6)(X-1)
= X^2 - x + 6x - 6
= X^2 + 5x - 6
