m = \(1.75a\) :: a = \(\frac{4}{7}\)m
By putting value of \(a\) in eq .... (1)
2m = \(\frac{4m + 7b}{7}\)
14m = 4m + 7b
10m = 7b
m = 0.7b

(a + b) / 2 = m
a + b = 2m
As, m is 75% more than a. Let, a = 10, so m = 17.5
Now, a + b = 2m
10 + b = 2 * 17.5
10 + b = 35
b = 25
SO, m is less than b by (25 - 17.5) / 25 = 30 %
a + b = 2m
