Re: Canadian Universities- GRE Score [#permalink]
hi
i have been taking prep for Gmat for last 6 months (average daily 2 hrs),but i am not being able to score more than 650 in practice prep. now i am contemplating of taking GRE.My goal is to get admission for PHD in Marketing or Finance & what ever the colleges i am looking for, all of them consider GRE as an alternative to Gmat. Now my questions are:

1. Apart from USA how relevant GRE is in other nations for admission into PHD in Business management?
2. suppose i manage 300-320 in GRE will it be consider same as 700 in Gmat.
3. Will i get as much scholarship as i would have get if i go though Gmat route.

i am only considering some Canadian and European universities for the program and its mentioned in their website that all of them are considering Gmat score as well.
My one and only concern is a good score in any of the competitive exam(to get 100% scholarship),rest (my profile & all) are good enough to get admission.

thnx

Hi gre99,

Pretty relevant. Here is a list of universities that accept GRE scores for MBA

Here is a conversion matrix from GRE to GMAT Scores

3. Will i get as much scholarship as i would have get if i go though Gmat route.

You need to check individual colleges if the scholarships still apply.
