This price falls in case of mixture of milk and water. If we compare per litre of pure milk and mixture, concentration of milk will be less in the mixture. But by how much?
In 108 cents, we can buy 1 litre milk
In 90 cents, we will buy \(\frac{1}{108} * 90 = \frac{5}{6} litre\)
Therefore, per litre, 1/6 of milk is replaced by water to make the given mixture.

So, total quantity of mixture = 96 litre
