x = -6, 5

x-6 = -12, -1

So, x-6 < 0

Hence, B is the answer.

Can someone explain this? Where are the -12 and -1 coming from?

\(x-5=0\) and \(x+6=0\)

Now,

\(x=5\) and \(x=-6\)

If you substitute in quantity A the two values of x A is always <0

\(+5-6=-1\)

\(-6-6=-12
\)

In both cases, 0 is greater

B i the answer
