Perimeter of the rectangular field = 400 + 300 + 400 + 300 = 1400
This means the perimeter of the SQUARE field = 1400
A square has 4 sides of EQUAL length.
So, each side of the square must have length = 1400/4 = 350

Perimeter of rectangle = (400+300)*2 = 1400
Perimeter of square = 4a
4a = 1400
a = 1400/4 = 350
Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
