Hi,
the question translates into the following equation:
x(0.9)^2 = y(1.2)^2
0.81x = 1.44y
Sq Rootx= Sq Root y
0.09x= 0.12y
0.12/0.09 = 4/3 =>A

Solution:
Bank account A: x-0.1% of x= 0.9x-0.1% of x= 0.81x
Bank account B: y+0.2% of y=1.2y + 0.2%of y= 1.44y
Thus, 0.81x=1.44y
\(\frac{x}{y}\)=\(\frac{1.44}{0.81}\)
\(\frac{\sqrt{x}}{\sqrt{y}}\)=\(\frac{12}{9}\)=\(\frac{4}{3}
