Quantity A
Quantity B
\(x^5\)
\(x^7\)

A) Quantity A is greater.
B) Quantity B is greater.

1 < 3X< 2 [#permalink]
\(X\) is between \(0.33\) to \(0.67\) and hence \(x^7\) will be smaller. The higher the power the smaller it becomes.

realizing that x is decimal we can answer the question.
Raising a power to a decimal will yield a less value decimal. In other word, x^2>x^3>x^4......
Therefore, Quantity A > Quantity B.
