Since she requires 7 breaks of 0.5 Hr each, she will not be driving for 7(0.5) = 3.5 Hrs
Now, she will be covering 879 miles in 24 - 3.5 = 20.5 Hrs
Time = \(\frac{879}{20.5}\) = 42.87 = 43 Miles/Hr (Approx.)
Hence, option D
