I took my test on 4th June 2021 and I was devastated to see my score. I scored 149Q and 149V, scores which I never expected, at least in Quants. I took three months to prepare for the exam. Firstly, I started out by polishing my foundations on both quants and verbal sections for a month. Then I started out to take untimed mock tests in the second month and in the last month, I gave timed mock tests where I scored 166Q and 153 on verbal. I was very confident in the quants section and thought that I would at least score above 160 on the real test.

The problem which I faced on the exam(Which I think to be):

1. While practicing mock tests, the questions which I used to get in the first section of quants were very easy. I could solve them in a time span of 30 mins and the second section would obviously be slightly harder where I used to miss 2-3 question, hence overall score would be around 165-166.

2. But on the actual exam, I slightly got harder questions in the first section itself and I messed up my pace for the rest of the whole section. I got an experimental quants section which I felt to be too hard and in the second section of quants I felt too drained out where I made a lot of mistakes.

3. Now, I have an idea about what actually went wrong. But I don't know what solution should I apply to my problem. Please suggest me how to start.

* McGraw Hill Test Series Software

* ETS PP1(Took in the first month and scored 149V and 159Q) and PP2(Took at the end and got 153V and 166Q)

* Princeton Manual 8.0 , free 4 mocks on it's website and 1014 questions booklet and cracking the gre.

P.S: I am planning to apply abroad mostly for universities in the US for MS in CS programs this fall and I need a score at least above 320.
