Explanation
All isosceles right triangles (or 45–45–90 triangles) have sides in the ratio of 1:1:√2.
Thus, an isosceles right triangle with hypotenuse 8√2 has sides of 8, 8, and 8√2.
Use the two legs of 8 as base and height of the triangle in the formula for area:
A=b×h2=8×82=32
