A fence consists of m lengths of fence that are each n feet long
This means there are m fences each of length n => Total fence length is m*n = mn
Now, to support each fence there will be post of Either Side like this
P-F-P-F-P => Number of Posts will be 1 more than the number of fences
=> Number of Posts = m+1
Length of each post = x
=> Total length of post = x*(m+1)
=> Total Length of fence + post = mn + x*(m+1) = mn + mx + x = m(n+x) + x
So, answer will be C
Hope it helps!
