Best Way to Improve my Score

I took the GRE yesterday and scored a 154 on Verbal. My goal is to get into a top 20 school in the US. Are there any suggestions that you would have to increased that score? I have already memorized 1,000 words and that helped some, but as you can tell I still have to probably increase my score by at least another 6-8 points. Are there any suggestions that you have or programs that you used to increase your verbal score? I used Magoosh, but did not find it to be very helpful. Thank you so much!
