It just means that It is our natural tendency to not perceive time as amorphous or mixture of serial intervals. That means humans tend to look at the moments in their lives as separate moments. These moments may be interlinked, but they are discrete or different from each other. Like you get up in the morning, which follows by the shower which then follows by school or work. These are successive moments and are separated.
