Easiest way to solve and understand this is by taking number
Method 1: Taking Values
a < 0
Lets take a = -1
Quantity A = a = -1
Quantity B = -|a| = -|-1| = - (1) = -1
So, Quantity A = Quantity B
Method 2: Using variable
a < 0
Quantity A = a
Quantity B = -|a|
Now, a < 0 => |a| = -a
=> -|a| = -(-a) = a
So, Quantity A = Quantity B
So, answer will be C
