If √10 = 3.16, then we can say that (3.16)^2 = 10
So, we can rewrite the quantities as:
Quantity A: (3.14)^2
Quantity B: (3.16)^2
Since 3.16 is GREATER THAN 3.14, it must also be true that (3.16)^2 is GREATER THAN (3.14)^2

A greater positive number gives a greater number when it is elevated to the same positive number. Since sqrt(10) is greater than pi, the answer is B.
