In any triangle, the sum of two smaller sides must be greater than the larger side.
We have two sides \(10\) & \(11\)
The other side can be : \(11-10 < x < 11+10\)
\(1 < x < 21\)
Answer D

IMPORTANT RULE: If two sides of a triangle have lengths A and B, then . . .
|A-B| < third side < A+B
So, we can write: |11 - 10| < x < 11 + 10
Simplify: 1 < x < 21
If x = 2, then Quantity B is greater
If x = 3, then the quantities are equal
If x = 4, then Quantity A is greater
Answer: D
