A fifth of 10 is 2 (\(\frac{10}{5}\)).
So a value say x. \(x \times 2 = 5\) or \(x=2.5\).
Hence option A is correct!

thanks a lot SVP......I got confused by the language of the question.......
OK, now I got the question clearly
10 has five fifths, they are: 2, 2, 2, 2, 2
Above-mentioned question asked us- 5 is equivalent to exactly how many of those five fifths?
We can take two 2's and half of another 2 (= 1) to get the value of 5
