\(Average = \frac{sum-of-all-the-numbers}{total-nos}\)
\(x^2 + y^2 = \frac{m + (x+y)^2}{2}\)
\(2(x^2 + y^2) = m + x^2 + y^2 + 2xy\)
\(m = x^2 + y^2 - 2xy\)
\(m = (x-y)^2\)

\(x^2 + y^2 = \frac{m + (x+y)^2}{2}\)
