Hi,
You can quickly calculate the answer using the calculator.
First, find the unit of oil pumped in 1 min i.e. = 500/60=8.333..33
Then the total duration we are asked to find in 3 hours and 15 mins i.e. 195mins.
Multiply 8.3333333 by 195= 1625 gallons.
Note: Try to get accustomed to the GRE calculator, because at times it is necessary to use it and if you use it for the first time on the test it might be a bit time consuming/ annoying for you.
