1) (E) In the passage, the author describes a specific art installation, then proceeds to deconstruct (examine by breaking a whole into parts) the elements of the art exhibit and their meanings

2) (B) The author spends little time describing the exhibit (he doesn’t bother to catalog all the words defined, for instance) and instead emphasizes that its goals were to explore the polysemy (multiple meanings) of language, and to foster participation rather than contemplation. The last sentence, in particular, highlights this change. It can therefore be inferred that the viewer’s response to the exhibit is more important than the exhibit itself.

3) (B) Since the author is using “amplified” to describe the exhibit’s purpose, in this context, “amplified” means “added to.”
