Add \(\frac{1}{x}\) to both sides of the inequality: \(2>2 +\frac{1}{x}\)

Subtract \(2\) from both sides of the inequality: \(0>\frac{1}{x}\)

This tells us that \(\frac{1}{x}\) is negative, which means \(x\) must be negative.

Answer: B
