That is a tricky one.
Remember
1) if a sentence like this is too short the likelihood that if you spot the correct blank, to cascade, the others follow.
2) if a question is long, the probability to have twists increase and the blanks can be in contrast to each other
As always it is important to understand the memaning

Now, if he composed that composition and presented to his wife then his genius is remarkable
So the first blank must be C unmistakable because A and B are negative and he is a genius.
as it turns out, the second blank because his genius is apparent is CLEAR in his composition. And how is his composition shoed to his wife : it a NOT an homage but rather his own interpretation. Therefore, it is an adaptation thanks to his genius.
