From the given figure
\(QR = 3w\) as the three rectangles are stacked on top of each other and the widths are added.
Also
\(ST = l =3w\)
Then
\(RS = l + w = 3w +w =4w\)
Then Qty A is:
\(\frac{QR }{ SR} = \frac{3w }{ 4w} = \frac{3}{4}\)
Hence the two quantities are equal and the answer is Option C

Let x = the width of each rectangle:
x + x + x = 3x.
So, RQ = 3x and ST = 3x
Now that we know each rectangle has the dimensions x by 3x, the diagram looks like this:
So we get...
QUANTITY A: \(\frac{QR}{RS}=\frac{3x}{3x + x}=\frac{3x}{4x}=\frac{3}{4}\)
QUANTITY B: \(\frac{3}{4}\)
Answer: C
