let the sides be 2x,2x+2,2x+4 then adding all of these 6x+6=24(perimeter)
x = 3
sides = 6,8,10
now these three numbers are one of the most common Pythagorean triplets(i would recommend learning about 10 most common of these so you could recognize them just by looking)
now area = 1/2*6*8 = 24
