Hi there, Congratulations For Your Excellent Score. I just wanted to ask what Study Materials did you use for Quant? and Is the complexity level of Actual GRE quant accurate to that of the ETS Book or was it much harder?

Hey, folks!

I have been preparing for the GRE since 2 months - I gave my test on Sep 6th. The AWA was fine and once the next section began, my internet became weak. I had initially passed the system check twice. My webcam connection stopped and there was a message from the ProctorU rep that they need to fix the issue. I told them they can do as they wish and they took almost 20 mins to fix the issue.

They let me continue the exam and I finished it. I was relieved when I saw a Q169 V159. But after browsing through this community and many others, I have seen many instances of test scores being cancelled due to similar webcam/internet connectivity issues.

All I can do is simply wait for my scores now. But if anyone of you can offer any advise / suggestion, I am all ears.

Thank you!

Hi there!

I don’t think the scores would be cancelled, if so the proctor would have informed you then and there.

P.s.: Congratulations on the score!!! You can share your experience and how did you prepare (sources you used) on the forum, it would be really helpful for the members.

Regards
S

Thank you! Means a lot

I was initially preparing for the GMAT for 2 months. My confidence, accuracy and timing stabilised due to extensive GMAT quant prep from e-gmat. I have used Cambridge Coaching's GRE vocab excel workbook and a telegram channel called 'Preparing for GRE' to improve my GRE Verbal score.

Thank you, Sirish! I have not used any official source for GRE prep. I finished the syllabus for general quant questions a few months ago when I was preparing for the GMAT through e-gmat. To understand the scope, pattern and type of questions in GRE quant, I referred to a couple of sample tests on GREedge. Quickly screening through the entire set of questions before attempting to solve them helped me prioritise the sequence in which I could answer. That really gave me a breather for the tricky questions.
