Median is 50th percentile, which is $51,500
75th percentile is $59,700
Therefore, 25 percentile of teachers salaries lie between 51,500 to 59,700
Th number of teachers with salaries between $51,500 and $59,700 = 0.25*500 = 125

The two quantities are equal.

The median is 51,500.(Pos. 250)
The 75th percentile is 59,700. (Pos. 75% of 500 = 375)
So, the number of teachers with salaries between $51,500 and $59,700 => 375 - 250 = 125
Quant A < Quant B
Therefore, the answer is B
