From the figure, it is clear that

the dimension of the rectangle will be

l=b=5 & h=2

Volume =lbh=50

50 cubic centimeters

By counting the grid marks on the figure, you can determine that the box will have length 5 cm, width 5 cm, and height 2 cm. The volume, V, is length times width times height. Thus, V=(5cm)(5cm)(2cm)=50cm3.
