Useful property: \((xy)^n = (x^n)(y^n)\)
Since \(12 = (2)(6)\), we can rewrite Quantity A as follows:
QUANTITY A: \(12^{50}= [(2)(6)]^{50} = (2^{50})(6^{50})\)
QUANTITY B: \(6^{100}\)
From here, we can divide both quantities by \(6^{50}\) to get:
QUANTITY A: \(2^{50}\)
QUANTITY B: \(6^{50}\)
Since it's clear that \(6^{50} > 2^{50}\), the correct answer is B
