For a moment, let's let y = the missing angle as shown below:

Since the three angles in a triangle must add to 180°, we can write: x + y + 90 = 180
Subtract 90 from both sides: x + y = 90
Subtract x from both sides: y = 90 - x

So our diagram becomes:

Since angles on a line must add to 180°, we can write: (90 - x) + (2x + 60) = 180
Simplify the left side of the equation: x + 150 = 180
Solve: x = 30

Answer: A
