Are Official GMAC questions a good practice for the GRE?

I came across this advice quite a few times, that practicing official GMAC questions for the GMAT is actually very good for your GRE prep.
I'd like to ask someone more experienced if this is true actually or a myth? Can GMAC practice exercises help me do better in the GRE? maybe with quant at least?

They are good. But you must be careful on this. Not all GMAT questions are good because or too hard or out of scope for the GRE.

I would not say it's a full-on "myth"; however, there are more than enough great GRE questions you can tackle without having to dip into the GMAT question pool. Are you looking for additional GRE practice problems?
