We are given 100 rulers, each a foot long (or 12 inch long) are glued to form a 100 foot long ruler.
Adjacent rulers overlap by 1 inch.

So total number of overlapping pairs = 100/2 = 50

Total length for each overlapping pair = 1 inch + 1 inch = 2 inches

Net overlap length = 2 * 50 = 100 inches

So, overall length = 1200 inches - 100 inches = 1100 inches or 91 something feet

So answer is D
