Given: \(\frac{x}{z}=5\)
Multiply both sides of the equation by \(z\) to get: \(x = 5z\)

In Quantity A, replace \(x\) with \(5z\) to get:
QUANTITY A: \(\frac{5z+z}{5z-z}\)

QUANTITY B: \(\frac{3}{2 }\)

Simplify Quantity A:
QUANTITY A: \(\frac{6z}{4z}\)

QUANTITY B: \(\frac{3}{2 }\)

Simplify Quantity A again:
QUANTITY A: \(\frac{3}{2}\)

QUANTITY B: \(\frac{3}{2 }\)

Answer: C

\(\frac{x}{z} = \frac{5}{1}\)

\(\frac{x + z }{ x - z} = \frac{5 + 1}{ 5 - 1} = \frac{3}{2}\)
