Consecutive odd integers increase by 2 .
For example: 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15.....
The smallest (1st) odd integer = x - 3
So, the next (2nd) odd integer = (x - 3) + 2 = x - 1
The 3rd odd integer = (x - 1) + 2 = x + 1
The 4th odd integer = (x + 1) + 2 = x + 3
The 5th (greatest) odd integer = (x + 3) + 2 = x + 5
Answer: C
