The answer must be B

Those works were an anticipation of what Back did later on.

So we need a synonym of anticipation. B is the answer

However, this is a bad question to practice. A good verbal score will not be achieved with such questions

Thanks for your reply. But I thought it should be something like "prediction", so I put C. I feel like this question is pretty hard and I can't find anything on the internet.

So it is a preview of what you would have to do later on

Adumbration is not possible because it is a word related to your personal feeling. when someone gives you the big picture of a story and NOT the detail.

C is out of scope.

Please, when you post a question on the board, provide the OA, format the answer choices into a table like I did, which is quite easy to do, and follow the rules of the board
