We are given that \(5\) yrs ago, John was \(x\) yrs old.
John's age now \(= x + 5\), which is twice the age of Nancy.
Nancy's age \(= \frac{x + 5}{2}\)
In \(3\) yrs, Nancy's age will be \(= \frac{x + 5}{2} + 3\)
\(\frac{x + 11}{2}\)
