If -2 < x < 11, then which of the following must me true? A. x > -1. [#permalink]

Hey Ishan,

We are given that \(-2 < x < 11\)

Now as you mentioned that \(x = -99\) now that option \(E\) is the limit we are given. The value of x must be from \(-2 < x < 11\)

So if you take any value of x between \(-2\) and \(11\), the value will always be greater than \(-100\) and less than \(20\) hence \(E\) is the correct answer.
