In the figure above, \(\overline{AC} \parallel \overline{ED}\) and \(\overline{BD} \cong \overline{DE}\). If \(m \angle A = 58\) , what is the measure of \(\angle C \)?

BD = DE, so ∠B = ∠E.
Now ∠A = 58 and ∠A = ∠E because AC || ED, hence ∠B = 58
Including all ∠ of bigger triangle ∠C = 180 - 58 - 58 = 64
Now ∠A = 58 and ∠A = ∠E because AC || ED, hence ∠B = 58
Including all ∠ of bigger triangle ∠C = 180 - 58 - 58 = 64
