We can solve this question by applying a little bit of number sense.
There are 100 integers from 1 to 100
The average value of the integers from 1 to 100 is approximately 50.
So the sum of all 100 integers ≈ (100)(50) ≈ 5000, which is definitely greater than 1000
Answer: A
