Completed distance \(= \frac{2}{5}(350) = 140\)
Time \(= 2.5\) hr

Average speed \(= \frac{140}{2.5} = 56 mph\)

Wouldn't this be D since there is no indication of the speed at which John would complete the second leg of the trip?
