Given: The team has won 10 games and lost 5 games
So, the team has played a total of 15 games so far.
If the team wins the next k games, then:
The total number of games won = 10 + k
The total number of games played = 15 + k
We can write: (10 + k)/(15 + k) = 75/100 (aka 75%)
Simplify the right side: : (10 + k)/(15 + k) = 3/4
Cross multiply: 4(10 + k) = 3(15 + k)
Expand: 40 + 4k = 45 + 3k
Solve: k = 5
Answer: 5

The total games is K+15
The won games is K+10
Therefore, (K+15)*75% = K+10 or,
0.75K+11.25 = K+10
0.25K=1.25 ----> K=5
The math should be quick, but one can also use quick "trial and error" check for (K+10)/(K+15) = 75%
The answer is (5)
