The manager of a store makes telephone calls at the rate of x calls every t work-days and we need to find the number of telephone calls the manager makes in y work-days
The manager of a store makes telephone calls at the rate of x calls every t work-days
=> Calls in t work-days = x calls
=> Calls in 1 work-day = \(\frac{x}{t}\) calls
=> Calls in y work-days = y*\(\frac{x}{t}\) calls = \(\frac{y*x}{t}\) calls = \(\frac{xy}{t}\) calls
So, Answer will be A
