A quick approach is to find values that satisfy the given information.
w is 10 percent less than x
How about w = 9 and x = 10 [in other words, 9 is 10% less than 10]
y is 30 percent less than z
How about y = 7 and z = 10 [in other words, 7 is 30% less than 10]
wy is what percent less than xz?
wy = (9)(7) = 63
xz = (10)(10) = 100
The question becomes "63 is what percent less than 100?"
Answer: C [since 37% less than 100 is 63]

when i am taking w= 10 then x becomes 11
and lets say i take y= 10 or 20, then z becomes 13 or 26 respectively
if i take those values, i am getting a different ans,why?
