the ans should be C not D, if b = 1000a and a is positive integer
for all the positive integer the sum of digits of a and sum of digits of b will be same only
lets say "a" = 28 b= 1000*28 = 28000
quantity A = 10
quantity B = 10

Can you provide an explanation how it will be D. For whatever values I try I get the sum of digits for both A and B the same.

I believe the should question should mention somewhere if the digits are unique or not

Because

b=1000a

suppose a is 10 the digits is 1+0

and b 1+0

If a is 28 the sum is 10 but b is 11

D is the answer but it is not a clear question

Sorry. Correct me if I am wrong. If a is 28 then b would be 28000 which will still give the answer as 10 when the digits are summed up
