MP would be the radius of the white circle and using if we use the Pythagoras theorem we can say that MP=10 as 6,8,10 is a Pythagorean triplet.

So the area of the white circle would be pi*r^2 = pi*10^2 = 100pi

For the larger circle, N is the center. So the radius would be NM + the radius of the white circle i.e. NM + 10 = 16

Area of larger circle = 16^2*pi=256pi

The Area of shaded region = the area of the bigger circle - the area of white circle

area = 256pi - 100pi = 156pi -------> A

2.5 times the area of white circle = 2.5*100pi = 250pi -----------> B

So clearly A<B.

The answer is B.
