With 16 dishes on the table, the number of dishes to be chosen in a 3-course meal will be 16*15*14 which is option A.
Now, 16!/13! = (16*15*14*13!)/ 13!. Eliminating 13! gives option B as 16*15*14. Hence as A and B are equal, C is the answer.
